Riding the Waves of Pleasure with the Nexus Glide
by PASSIONAL Magazine
It's catch as catch can for PASSIONAL Magazine when it
comes to recruiting writers to review toys... so this month we got TWO
reviews of the same toy that has all the boys talking, or at least
planning their winter hibernation...
Glidin' with Eddie Spaghetti (on PASSIONAL Toystore staff) I finally decided to add a prostate massager to my collection of toys. I went with a Nexus Glide
because the rolling ball for external massage looked like added fun (I
had heard that the plain plastic "fingers" on most prostate massagers
feel like actual fingers whereas the metal ball feels more like a
tongue). As luck would have it my roommate was out for the night, so
when I got home I quickly set up shop to take my new toy for a test
drive. The
smaller size was just perfect; it slid right in, with a touch lube of
course, and fit quite comfortably. I took a seat and began my rocking
back and forth. Between the shape of the
head and the rolling ball for external stimulation, it felt like a
little hand massaging all around my P-Spot. I began to stroke my rod
and about halfway through, tried a side to side rocking which felt 10
times better. As the fruits of my labor
gathered in my loins, I stopped my stroking and allowed the Glide to do
the rest as suggested on the back of the package. Wow did it hit the
spot. As the waves of pleasure over took my body, all I could do was
rock and enjoy. I experienced one of the most mind blowing self-induced orgasms of my life. As
the pleasure subsided, I laid feeling like a weight was lifted. The
release it created seemed to relax me much more than a typical night of
self pleasure, it even topped some nights with a partner. When
I finally began to clean up the leftovers of my success the glide
slipped out just as easily as it went in. My new toy was easy to clean
with a little soap and some hot water. I was even provided a little tool that pops the ball out with little effort, so no crevice was left unwashed. -- Eddie Spaghetti
Glidin' with Johnny S (a satisfied customer)
The Nexus Glide bills itself as a toy for gentlemen who want to
experiment in anal play, and the instructions on the package are
definitely written for novices to the realm. I
completely endorse the safety guidelines that they list to make sure
that people don't hurt themselves when first jumping into this area,
but anyone with some regular experience in inserting things there isn't
going to take 15-20 minutes to get this thing in place. Made with medical grade plastics, it takes to all kinds of lube really easily, and slides in without a problem. The main concern is making sure you've got the thing in the right direction. Again,
the instructions tell you to take another 15-20 minutes to get used to
it being there, but it doesn't take that long before you're off and
running, so to speak. Once it's in, I've got to say, it creates a totally new sensation for anal play by yourself. The
gentle rocking motion of the hips produces a nice deep massage of the
prostate, and keeps both hands free to work on other parts of your
body. It's positioned quite well to really stimulate that pleasure center. The only real problem with the Glide is that with a good amount of lube like they recommend, the things moves around a bit. Not
completely, but depending on the angle you're sitting/standing/lying
down, the thing twists and doesn't quite hit the sweet spot anymore. Fortunately, it does have a handle to get things back on track.
While I wouldn't say that the orgasms I've had "blow ordinary orgasms
out of the water" like the package claims, the Nexus Glide is a great
toy for getting a good thorough prostate massage and all the pleasure
that comes with it. Clean up is a breeze, and the little roller ball pops out an in with a simple snap. Totally worth investing in one for anyone who enjoys or wants to enjoy anal play. -- John S.
