LIBERTINE DRESS CODE

Peg-legged pirates, Jolly Rogers, wicked wenches, treasure hunters and booty will abound at Shampoo Nightclub this July for the magical midsummer experience that true Libertines demand!
Although costumes and fantasy dress are recommended at all weekend events, they are absolutely required for entry to the Libertine Ball. Everyone is part of the spectacle, so dress to distress! You can buy a portrait or choose not to be photographed (no personal cameras are allowed at the affair to protect the privacy of guests)
Libertine Ball is a COSTUME MANDATORY EVENT... if you don't arrive in costume or with a costume to change into, you will be stripped to your skivvies or turned away at the parlor!

Acceptable attire includes:
Themed costumes (pirates, peglegs, wenches, warriors), thongs n' pasties, barely there attire, spandex swimwear, dancewear, fetishwear (latex, leather, vinyl, rubber, pleather, and shiny stuff, bondage spikes, etc.), drag (full crossdressing with accessories), fishnet, saran wrap, fashion tape, plastic glam, cyber rave, all neon, burlap, catsuits, lingerie, bodystockings, pajamas with slippers, diapers and bonnets or body paint (professional body painting service is available for hire at the Ball), military dress uniforms, nurses dresses (but not scrubs- though a lab coat and thong might suffice).

Unaccesptable attire includes:
Jeans, sneakers, t-shirts, business suits (except on drag kings), denim, medical scrubs (unless accompanied by character makeup), racially offensive costumes and symbols (no KKK costumes or swastikas).
A changing area and clothing check will are available at the entrance to the Ball.

LIQUOR LICENSE RULES
Pennsylvania and New Jersey clubs that serve alcohol do not allow nudity, so keep the genitals/nether regions covered. There will be no overt sexual activity. Under no circumstances should any fake or real organ or extremity penetrate any orifice. Ask the MONITOR for tape or liquid latex to cover female nipples if you wish to expose them (or buy pasties).
Alert MONITORs (with orange armbands) or security regarding potential hazards, harassment, breech of regulations, or other problems. They have the final say in any disagreement. We will not allow anyone to do anything that could jeopardize our ability to protect the club's liquor license.
